A RETAIL PAYMENTS STRATEGY FOR THE EU\u00a0 … <\/strong>an ECPA Position Paper : September 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n

In accordance with its Work Programme for 2020, the European Commission (EC) has indicated that it will shortly adopt and implement a Strategy for an integrated EU Payments Market (the so-called \u201cRetail Payments Strategy for the EU\u201d).<\/p>\n

This paper confirms ECPA\u2019s support for such a policy to address the future of payments in Europe and sets out the association\u2019s views and recommendations on the implementation of such a strategy and framework, in particular in areas where the payment card could play a major role \u2026<\/p>\n
